From the Beginning
The Greer family has been in the Horticultural Nursery Business for over three generations, originally established in Pomona, California. The nursery expanded to the Murrieta Valley in 1958 and later incorporated under the new name Murrieta Oaks Nursery in 1988. We have grown with the local population and continue to cultivate plant material that works in the Temecula and Murrieta area.
Mike Greer
This third generation Nurseryman began his work experience at a young age working in the family business during winter and summer school breaks. He continued his college education at Cal Polytechnic University, Pomona, and graduated from California State University, Chico. With a degree in Business Administration, Mike has expanded the nursery operation to its current 20 acre facility. Growing plants is in our blood and the experiences of past generation has contributed to a successful Nursery and Garden Center operation.
